Membership is available to individuals involved with startup businesses in their early-stage or scaling from series A to B (founders, investors, operators, C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, senior-level leaders, and other innovative individuals determined in the sole discretion of Hype Membership). The Hype member is an individual, not an entity.  Each member must agree, at all times, to abide by this agreement, including, without limitation, the Membership Requirements and Expectations.  Membership is a privilege which is subject to annual renewal, revocation, or termination for a member’s failure to conduct himself/herself in a manner consistent with Hype Membership’s Requirement or otherwise determined by Hype Membership’s sole discretion.

By joining and maintaining my Hype Membership, I agree that I am eligible to do so, which means the following: 

1. I have submitted an application for Hype Membership through the “application form,” of which has been reviewed and approved by the Hype Membership Leadership.  

2. I am a founder, investor, C-suite executive, entrepreneur, or senior-level leader of my current organization, or I have otherwise received approval from the Hype Membership to join and maintain my membership. 

3. My participation with Hype Membership is not focused on selling my products or services.

4. I acknowledge that Hype Membership can reserve capacity for active members, so my participation is required to maintain my membership.  If I do not actively participate in the Hype Network/Membership community (as determined by Hype Membership in its sole discretion), my membership may become inactive.  If I am inactive without valid reason within thirty (30) days after receiving a notice of inactivity, my membership may be terminated without refund. 

5. I understand that participation in this community is a paid membership and that non-payment of my annual membership fees when they become due may result in automatic termination of my membership in Hype Membership.

6. In connection with any Hype Membership program which I serve, or have served, as a speaker, panelist, participant or attendee, I consent to Hype Network/Hype Membership recordings of its events and any presentation of its programs and publication, distribution, and display.  I consent to reproduction, publication, distribution, exhibition and display of written material submitted in connection with the program.  Hype Membership may exercise or license these rights in all forms and media, whether or now known or later developed, throughout the world; my consent is irrevocable and extends, in perpetuity, to Hype Membership and its successors, assigns, and licensees, and professional biography; all the rights of I am granting my presentation and republishing my materials elsewhere; and I agree that the Hype Membership, as the program producer, will be the copyright owner of the program recording and any associated written materials compilation.
